About Me

My photo
Hi I’m Jen- I'm one lucky lady to be married to the most wonderful man, Jason. I am a mother to three beautiful children, Grant, Norah, who was born with hydrocephalus, and Mason. I love spending my time with my family. I also like to challenge myself with new things. I'm on a constant quest to become more organized, it may never happen but it's a dream. I currently work part-time as a RN in an emergency department. I love this journey of life that I am on with God by my side, knowing that all things are possible when you Believe.

Just over a week ago, we were in Riveria Maya, Mexico....

Today we are hanging out inside our home, and trying to stay warm from the subzero temperatures. Can we go back? NOW?

It's a.......

It just feels like a few weeks ago we found out we were expecting our third bundle of joy. Time is sure flying by because I'm already half way through my 18th week of pregnancy and had my anatomy scan done today. I would like you to meet our healthy SON!

Jason, Grant and Norah all came with to catch a sneak peek of the newest member of our family. It was a bit surreal walking into the perinatal assessment center, the last time I was there was a Monday afternoon, July 20th, 2009. The doctor were trying to decide if my uterus was getting too thin and concerned with the possibility that my uterus may rupture. Norah made her arrival a few hours later. I tried to keep those awful memories away of being told terrible outcomes that would probably happen and kept looking at my miracle baby girl.

I have to say this pregnancy has been my best with how I feel overall. I'm more tired this time around then with the previous, but that might have to do with having to running after two little ones. I have some morning sickness, but nothing like it was with Grant and Norah. Honestly, I usually only get sick one of the two days of the week I have to work, I think it's a sign.  It was very exciting when I started feeling movement so early this time around, at just 16 weeks. It wasn't everyday, but just enough to put a smile on my face that there is a growing baby in my belly. I pray that the rest of this pregnancy remains uneventful.

Keep safe in my tummy for 20 more weeks little boy, we will be patiently waiting for your safe arrival. Love Mommy
